Biography
Jessica Norton
I am a recent graduate of New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ. I just graduated at the end of fall 2009 with a bachelors degree in graphic design. I have done a lot of work in print design, but I am also very interested in web design and digital art. I am very much into typography so that plays a huge part in my designs.
A lot of my design influence comes from my surroundings. I am especially influenced by New York City since there is always so much to explore there. I also draw from modern art. My designs are usually very clean, however I prefer not to stick to a set grid unless the design demands it. Aside from graphic design, I also enjoy illustration. I like working with various mediums, but I prefer digital illustration.
I am constantly exploring the web as well as magazines and books looking for all sorts of new and innovative design. I love to learn new things so that I can apply them to my own work.
